Last week we celebrated the successful completion of the Signalong Foundation Course by a group from NHS Norfolk and Waveney CCG, which was facilitated by our very own Signalong Tutor, Jude. Each member of the group undertook 15 hours of training before successfully completing the course, which was tailored to suit their work setting. Participant and Transforming Care Navigator Project Manager for NHS Norfolk and Waveney, Kelly Boast said,
“As a team supporting children and young people (0-25 years) with a Learning Disability, Autism, or both, we are always seeking to learn new ways of communicating with the young people we support. When we discovered JDT Music Academy offered Signalong Training, we were keen to complete the foundation course. And wow, we were not disappointed. Jude Oularé, our tutor, is so passionate and inspiring, we were captivated from our very first lesson. We had such fun learning a valuable skill and alternative method of communication that we know will be imperative to the support we provide to young people in the future.”
