At JDT Music Academy, we’re proud to deliver the Arts Award, a flexible and inclusive qualification for young people aged 5 to 25, accredited by Trinity College London. Whether you’re into crafting, drama, rapping, DJ-ing, songwriting, filmmaking, animation, game design, model making, or something entirely unique—we’ll support your passion wherever we can.

What is the Arts Award?

The Arts Award helps young people grow as artists and creative thinkers through a student-led, personalised journey. With no time limits to complete each stage, you can progress at your own pace. The award is designed to be accessible to all levels and abilities.

There are five progressive levels:

• Discover (introductory level)
• Explore (Entry Level 3)
• Bronze (Level 1)
• Silver (Level 2)
• Gold (Level 3 – worth 16 UCAS points)

What Students Can Gain:

• Develop and grow your existing creative skills
• Try new art forms and take on exciting creative challenges
• Build confidence, communication, and leadership skills
• Gain insight into the creative industries—locally and globally
• Explore potential career pathways in the arts
• Earn a nationally recognised qualification to strengthen college, university or job applications
