The BigBuild is our ongoing community café project, focused on transforming JDT Music Academy into a more welcoming, accessible, and inspiring space for everyone who walks through our doors. Over the past couple of years, this ambitious renovation has brought significant improvements to our studios—including brand new flooring, upgraded ceilings, enhanced acoustic treatment, and modern equipment and facilities.
Supported not only by our wonderful customers, but also by the incredible fundraising efforts of the Friends of JDT Music Academy, the BigBuild is a true community-powered project. It’s more than just bricks and mortar—it’s about creating a vibrant, inclusive hub where creativity, learning, and connection can thrive.
With continued support and momentum, we’re aiming to complete the BigBuild in 2026, including the launch of our community café, a welcoming space where people can meet, relax, and feel part of the JDT community.
