During the lockdown, we took it upon ourselves to invest some need needed time into our lovely studio. Having been here almost 20 years and never really having the time to give it a proper facelift, it took 8 of us 9 weeks to completely transform the building and it feels like new, even if we do say so ourselves! The revamp included a mega clear out, the installation of emergency pull chords in our bathrooms, paint refresh EVERYWHERE, new carpets, perspex screens, new and long overdue signs carrying our new logo, replacement (double-glazed) windows, hand wash and sanitation stations, upgraded lighting, improved storage, revamped performance space, updated office and improved staff room, a new jamming space….. the list goes on! It is an absolute joy to be able to share our new space with our lovely students. Here’s hoping we can share it further as restrictions continue to ease.
