Signalong Training
Signalong is a key word sign-supported communication system based on British sign language and is used in spoken word order. It uses speech, sign, body language, facial expression and voice tone to reference the link between sign and word. Signalong is an alternative key-word signing communication method used by individuals with a speech, language and communication need.
Our training courses are delivered by our fully qualified and registered Signalong Tutor, Jude Oularé. Courses are available on a number of different levels and can be tailored to suit your specific requirements.
Please note that Completion Certificates can only be awarded to individuals with 100% attendance. Individuals who are only able to attend part of a course will receive an attendance Certificate.

Workshop
4 hours training delivered over two days
£60 incl. VAT per person – minimum 5 people
20% discount applied to groups of 10 people or more

This course offers a brief introduction to Signalong for those new to the concept and can act as a fantastic refresher course for those who have attended training before. Explore the basic principles and methods of Signalong and how it can be applied to your workplace and/or home life.
Introductory Course
8 hours training delivered over a minimum of two days
£120 incl. VAT per person – minimum 5 people
20% discount applied to groups of 10 people or more
Price includes training materials, one Signalong Vocabulary Book and Completion Certificate
This course provides an in-depth introduction to Signalong and can be tailored to meet your specific setting requirements. Our Tutor will liase with you prior to the course to ensure the teaching materials and course content are relevant to your situation.
This course is a useful introduction to the practical application of Signalong communication skills for staff and family members.
Foundation Course
15 hours training delivered over 7-8 weeks
£210.00 inc. VAT per person – minimum of 5 people
20% discount applied to groups of 10 people or more
Price includes training materials, one Signalong Vocabulary Book and Completion Certificate
The Foundation Course covers generalisation, symbolic understanding, methodology and key principals of Signalong. Our Tutor will liase with you prior to the course to ensure the teaching materials and course content are relevant to your situation.
